“Spiaggia Grande” The Big Beach di Acciaroli
It is the main beach of Acciaroli, called the “Pearl of Cilento” and elected Blue Flag by Legambiente and Touring Club. It is undoubtedly one of the most visited beaches in the area, with fine, golden sand and crystal clear sea. in all periods of the year, even in August. It boasts a fragrant sea lily and the shallow bottom for tens of meters makes it ideal for children. The beach is very wide and allows long walks and games with friends.
Pollica is a virtuous community and careful to maintain the highest quality of the beach and services that, operating from June to the end of September, make bathing perfect for families and those seeking relaxation and tranquility.
The prices of the beaches start from € 1 per umbrella, deckchair and sunbed. More expensive are the central beaches that also offer parking and are more suitable for young people, with music and aperitifs at the beach at sunset. However, there are free areas where you can enjoy the sea without any restrictions and the parking lots are all close.
The Port of Acciaroli
Near the beach we recommend a visit to the Port of Acciaroli. The view with the church and the tower is decidedly romantic and you can find several local craft shops, numerous clubs, restaurants or just eat an ice cream strolling along the pedestrian area. It is a valid alternative to the historical center, usually very crowded.
